Fitra is a amaount which is required to be paid before performing the Eid ul Fitr namaz. Mufti muneeb ul rehman who is the chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the Fitra amount 2016 in Pakistan is 100 rupees per person. He further explained the basis of this figure and said that it was calculated as the rupee equivalent of 2.25 Kg of flour price.
As you might be aware of the fact that there are so many basis over which you can decide to pay fitra. In 2016, the prices of following foods in Pakistan are as follows which can be used as the fitra raqam.
- Barley – PKR 320 per person
- Wheat – PKR 100 per person
- Date and Raisins – PKR 1600 per person
As you can see not every one could afford to pay fitr at 1600 rupees per person. So, it is your duty to judge how much you can afford to pay against fitra amount. If your income is low, you can pay at 100 per person rate or or at 320 per person. So, it all depends upon which base you use to pay Fitra Amount 2016 in Pakistan.
